Thomas Salinas, DDS FAGD
Dr. Salinas was born in Texas and studied biology at Austin College in Sherman, TX. He started working in his dentist's office in 1994. A love of travel and service led him to the U.S. Peace Corps in Cameroon, West Africa, for Two and a half years, but he knew he would train to be a dentist before joining the Peace Corps.
He brought this service-minded mentality to his time at the University of Texas Dental School, where he served as American Student Dental Association President, student admissions liason, an exchange student with Matsumoto Dental School in Japan, and Race Coordinator for "Miles for Smiles". He graduated with academic, clinical, and research honors then increased his skills attending the University of Florida's Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in St. Petersburg.
Continuing education is a large part of his professional life, and he has traveled extensively, seeking further knowledge. Currently he serves as President of the Woehler Research Group, the nations' oldest dental study club. Recently Dr. Salinas was granted Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, an award only 6% of the dentists in the nation have achieved.
Dr. Salinas enjoys the challenge of diagnosis and treatment planning. He is exceptionally skilled in creating a set of solutions tailored to each patient, and he is delighted to see a case come together as planned.
In his limited free time, Dr. Salinas enjoys traveling and fishing with his wife, Boy Scouting and camping with his son, and learning about the latest social media trends with his daughter.
Dayanne Ghorayeb, DMD
Dr. Dayanne Ghorayeb was born in Lebanon and raised in Tampa, Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree summa cum laude at the University of South Florida and her dental education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Hillsborough County Dental Research Club.
Dr. Ghorayeb’s passion for Dentistry stems from her past personal dental experiences and early exposure to the field. Her mission is to provide quality dental care, educate her patients on the importance of their oral health, and provide a relaxing, stress-free dental experience. She is a life-long student, always learning and continuing her education in order to provide the absolute best dental care to her patients and dental family.
In her free time, Dr. Ghorayeb enjoys spending time with her family, and her cute nieces and nephew. She also loves to travel, explore nature trails, watch movies and play with her cat, Stark!
Kalyn
Dental Assistant
Kalyn has been a dental assistant since 2012 and has been with Dr. Salinas since 2015. She is a cross-trained assistant, meaning she can help keep the front office running smoothly while still performing many treatment functions. She routinely takes x-rays, prepares instruments and equipment while making patients feel comfortable during all treatment phases. She is DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certified.
Her favorite part of her patients' visits is making them smile and forget their worries. She strives to make everyone feel comfortable and safe in an environment that can be overwhelming or cause anxiety due to some past trauma. For Kalyn, the best feeling is having a patient tell her they enjoyed their experience and want to return because of the care she provided.
Kalyn is a recent homeowner and enjoys doing home improvement projects with her boyfriend. She also loves spending time with her friends, family, and dog Dante.
Breanna
Dental Assistant
A dental assistant with Dr. Salinas since 2019, Breanna is enthusiastic about her role in dental procedures. She performs high-skill tasks such as taking impressions for dental restorations, making temporary crowns and bridges, and taking x-rays.
Her favorite way to help make a patient’s visit superb is ensuring they are comfortable during their appointment. Breanna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family outside of the office.
Patricia
Dental Assistant
Tricia has been a dental assistant since 2001 and joined Timberlane Family Dentistry in 2024. She received her Expanded Functions certifications from the University of Florida. She enjoys the variety of procedures she gets to do daily and feels rewarded when patients are happy with the treatment they get in our office.
In her free time, Tricia enjoys going to the beach, camping and traveling.
Bridget
Registered Dental Hygienist
Bridget is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and The College of Rhode Island in Lincoln. As a registered dental hygienist, she assists the dental team by conducting initial screenings, advising patients on their oral health, and performing teeth cleanings along with other treatments.
She has practiced hygiene at Timberlane since 2018 with a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and safe during their time spent with her. Her favorite thing is watching their walls come down. She finds it rewarding to witness a patient realize they're with a team that genuinely cares about their needs and gaining their trust. That connection is just the best for her, and she feels blessed to see this every day.
Outside the office, Bridget enjoys spending time with family & friends, going to the beach and traveling.
Molly
Registered Dental Hygienist
Molly is a graduate of Pasco-Hernando State College where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene and certification in Anesthesia. She has worked in Citrus County as a Dental Hygienist since 2016, she joined the team at Timberlane Family Dentistry in 2023. She enjoys working with the wonderful staff of professionals who make for the best office experience. She likes getting to know her patients and their individual needs and concerns. This way, she can customize their care to make them more comfortable and happy during their appointment. Seeing patients improve their oral health is the most rewarding part of her job.
Born in Minnesota but growing up in Alaska since the age of two, Molly is quite the outdoor enthusiast enjoying activities such as snowboarding and fishing. She moved to Florida with her two daughters in 2003 and a few years later she met her husband Todd who also has a daughter. Molly and Todd live in Homosassa where they spend most of their time on the water.
Debora
Registered Dental Hygienist
Debora started her dental career in 2008 as a Dentist in Brazil, she then moved to the United States in 2017 where she decided to pursue hygiene school. She started with Timberlane Family Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist in the summer of 2023. Debora finds the most satisfaction in helping patients take care of their health with prevention and care of their oral health. Debora enjoys the way that the team members here are always helping each other and helping the patients.
Debora is married to a wonderful man, Bruno, and has two adorable kids, Lia and Eric. She loves spending her free time with her family, her guinea pig, Brownie and friends.
Jennifer
Insurance Coordinator
Jennifer describes her role at Timberlane Family Dentistry as ‘all things insurance.’ She also helps handle the front desk, checking in and taking care of patients’ scheduling needs and billing concerns. So when you call, you’re likely to hear Jennifer’s pleasant voice on the line.
With the team since 2017, Jennifer’s favorite thing working with Dr. Salinas is caring for patients’ needs beyond their treatments. She likes knowing that although she doesn’t work directly on their teeth, she plays a vital role, helping in areas just as important.
Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends,
Zoey
Front Desk/Dental Assistant
Zoey has been in the dental field since 2017 and started with Timberlane Family Dentistry in 2021. She strives to make patients feel comfortable, knowledgeable about their visit and leave confident with a smile.
Zoey was born and raised in Crystal River. She loves spending her spare time with her son and fiance. They enjoy riding their ATV, going to the beach & hunting club.
